She is a six-time winner of the historic Amateur Night and Showtime at The Apollo; she's performed with music greats Kim Burrell, renowned jazz violinist Regina Carter, international jazz bassist Christian McBride and performed for esteemed notables President Barack Obama, Ray Charles, Denzel Washington among others.
Kersten launches her much anticipated fifth album, QUEEN RISING, an essential and innovative contribution to the legacy of jazz violin — produced, and featuring performances by CHRISTIAN MCBRIDE.
Brittany Stewart
Musical Guest
Brittany Stewart comes from a long line of singers and musicians and showed signs that she would follow the same path at the age of three. She is the daughter of Bishop Reginald Stewart and the late Robin Stewart. Her parents played a vital role in her musical journey, training her in the areas of singing and musicianship. "Little becomes much when you place in the master's hand" a line from a song her mother used to sing and has become truth for her. God has blessed her to write and arrange music, play multiple instruments, as well as teach music. These gifts have allowed her to travel the world and work with artists such as Donald Lawrence, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Vincent Bohannon, Stephen Manders, and many others. Her ministry through singing has also allowed her to feature on multiple records such as Jehovah Sabaoth (God of Angel Armies) by Donald Lawrence, " Give Me More of You" and "Take Control" by Vincent Bohannon, and "Your Glory" by Stephen Manders to name a few. Her ultimate goal is to release the sound and the message that God has given her to the earth!
