DAY 1 – MONDAY, JUNE 3

1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

9. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"
 

Devotional: 
YOU ARE CHOSEN
The first thing God wants you to know in this wonderful relationship with Him, is that your identity is found in Jesus Christ. So who are you now that your Holy Father has redeemed you? He says 'you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a Holy Nation, His special people. This is exciting!! You are the child of the king! Chosen personally for himself that you would do powerful things in the earth for the Kingdom of God. You are a Holy Priest who has access to His presence and His heart. If you have not seen this about you; pause for a moment to ponder and let this sink in. You are special; you are somebody. Here’s what He desires of you; that you live daily to represent Him in the earth. Don’t let the enemy define you and accuse you before the Father to be other than what He the Father says about you. You are chosen.

 

DAY 2 – TUESDAY, JUNE 4

1 Peter 2:10 NKJV
10  who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."
 

Devotional:
IT IS THE FATHER WHO DRAWS

 

John 6:44 declares, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him;"  When you were yet sinners, Christ died for you. Through His Spirit, the Father drew you out of darkness, out of the places of sin, uncleanness and unholy living. You could only come to HIM this way. Thanks be to Go our savior that you now are children of light. You light must shine and reveal Jesus Christ in you the hope of glory. Perhaps your light may be a little dim even though you have walked with him for sometime. This summers consecration will be a great blessing to let your light shine bright again. The very fact you are in this prayer call is a perfect opportunity to see this come to pass. The mercy of God and His grace will open the way to a deeper and more intimate relationship.

 

DAY 3 – WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

1 Peter 2:11 NKJV

11  Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,"

Devotional:
YOU ARE JUST PASSING THROUGH
As you read this title for the devotion, say to yourself, I’m just passing through! As sojourners and pilgrims, you are here temporarily as a foreigner. This is not your home. However, you are here with a purpose and a mission to proclaim His truth, witness and testify of Jesus Christ to every soul you can reach. In other words, you are on assignment. You are not a citizen of this world; you are a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven. We can’t be loyal to the world and God too. We are friend to one and enemy to the other. Keep going, keep sharing the good news and you will receive the crown of life, having overcome the wickedness of this world. The citizen of heaven has an eternal perspective as their final destiny. At the perfect and appointed time, as you close your eyes to this world, you open them to HIM, King Jesus. Say it again to yourself now, I’m just passing through. Our time here is very short compared to eternity. We must live it to the fullness of Him and be the best ambassadors for the Kingdom of Heaven.

DAY 4 – THURSDAY, JUNE 6

1 Peter 2:11 NKJV

11  Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,"
 

Devotional:
THERE IS A WAR AGAINST THE SOUL
You must be aware that the enemy wants to steal, kill and destroy God’s plan for your life. He cant stop God’s plan when you are obedient. However He will try to get you to forfeit the plan yourself. Your battle now is to live right in the sight of God, resist the temptation to entertain fleshly desires, allowing the enemy a door to destroy your witness. The flesh will always war against the spirit but you must gain victory over it. You have enlisted in the army of the Lord, the battle has begun; you are on a battleship to fight the good fight of faith. Agree with the Father to anoint you to live holy and upright this summer and every day after. Your reward is too great to forfeit now. Are you ready? You have everything that you need! Turning down the invitation to do what ensnares you, sets you back and run this race to the end. YOU WIN!

 

DAY 5 – FRIDAY, JUNE 7

1 Peter 2:12 NKJV

12  having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

 

Devotional:
THE WORLD IS WATCHING
In the times we are living right now, people are looking for answers to the chaos,
confusion, and troubles in their lives. Honestly, we are seeing somethings unprecedented in our time, but Jesus is the only answer. As children of the light, we must live honorable among those who are not saved. Let me explain. Since Jesus Christ in you is the answer, people only will see HIM if you let HIM shine in you; by your conduct (controlling yourself). The fruit of the spirit is powerful demonstrating His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. When people see this kind of fruit, they can’t help but recognize they are standing in the presence of a Holy God. The Fathers will is that none should perish and all should come to the knowledge and saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This world will go deeper into darkness if our light doesn’t shine before men. The world is
watching, the earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God. The world needs Jesus even more now and many don’t even know it. But you must still let your light so shine before men that they glorify your father which is in heaven. Let the world  see you boast about Jesus.

DAY 6 – SATURDAY, JUNE 8

Leviticus 6:12 NKJV
12  And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And
the priest shall burn wood on it every morning and lay the burnt offering in order
on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.
 

Devotional:
DID YOU CATCH FIRE?
As a warrior in Christ, God wants to make you a house of prayer. You are a spiritual
house that holds the presence and indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and guide you; and
pray through you to the Father concerning every matter on His heart. Nothing happens
without prayer. As you live your Sanctified Summer; prayer must be an essential part of
this effort to abstain from youthful lusts, to keep your heart pure and refuse to give the
enemy place to steal, kill and destroy. But the needs of others require your prayers and
intercession too. The Holy Spirit wants you to be sensitive to HIM so He can share His
heart and concerns for people he deeply loves. If your prayer life has dwindled and your
spiritual eyes have grown a little dim it’s time to get fire on the altar. It’s time to catch the
fire. Maybe you just have a few embers, God will fan the flame until you begin to shine
bright and burn for HIM. Remember the fire on the altar must never go out. The altar of
your heart may need to ignite again. Let’s do it in our Sanctified Summer.

 

DAY 7 – SUNDAY, JUNE 9

1 Peter 2:9-12 NKJV

Devotional:
STEPPING INTO A NEW SEASON
We are seeing a move of God so mighty and powerful as He is beckoning the church to come closer. He wants to bridge the places of stumbling, where our heart can get lukewarm, or our relationship begins to shift away. He’s called us to come up higher this summer and live holy, refusing to be enticed by the lusts of the flesh, endangering ourselves on a path of spiritual death. He is bringing fire and light; He is bringing passion and intimacy back. He knows us so well, the places where we struggle, where we are weakened. This summer is our time to lay before HIM; allow the work of refining to begin, if we are honest and transparent to let HIM. Our victory is found in knowing who we are, the war for our soul must be won on our knees because the world is watching and looking for answers to the pain, sorrow, chaos, and darkness all around. We have the answer. Jesus must shine through us so this world can see transformation, souls can be saved, snatched out of darkness into the most marvelous light of Christ. Don’t skip this wonderful plan; its exactly what you need to get back in the race.
