Writer: Pastor Dexter B. Upshaw Jr.Pastor Dexter B. Upshaw Jr.

Day 1: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Reading: Psalm 139:13-18

Message: "Can You See It?

Devotional: God's intricate design of each person is a testament to His love and care. Reflect on how you are "fearfully and wonderfully made." Consider your unique gifts, talents, and experiences. How has God woven these together to create the tapestry of your life? Remember that before you were formed, God had a purpose for you. Pray for insight into that purpose and for the courage to pursue it, knowing that you are precious in His sight.

Day 2: Seeing Beyond the Natural

Reading: 2 Kings 6:15-17

Message: "Can You See It?

Devotional: Like Elisha's servant, we often focus on the visible challenges surrounding us. But God invites us to see with spiritual eyes. What situations in your life seem overwhelming? Ask God to open your eyes to His presence and power in those circumstances. Remember that "those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Spend time in prayer, asking for a renewed perspective and the faith to trust in God's unseen work.

Day 3: From Nothing to Something

Reading: Genesis 1:1-5, 2 Corinthians 4:6-7

Message: "Can You See It?

Devotional: God specializes in creating something out of nothing. He spoke light into darkness and continues to bring order to chaos. Reflect on areas of your life that feel empty or void. How might God be working to create something beautiful there? Remember that we carry this creative power within us as bearers of God's image. How can you partner with God to bring light to dark places in your community? Trust that God can use you, a "jar of clay," to display His extraordinary power.

Day 4: Enduring Faith in Trials

Reading: Romans 5:3-5, James 1:2-4

Message: "Can You See It?

Devotional: Trials are not just obstacles to overcome but opportunities for growth. Consider the challenges you're facing. How might God be using these to develop your character and deepen your faith? Remember that endurance produces hope, and this hope does not disappoint. Pray for the strength to persevere and the wisdom to learn from your trials. Ask God to reveal His presence in your suffering and to use your experiences to comfort others.

Day 5: Awakening Spiritual Senses

Reading: Ephesians 1:17-19, Hebrews 5:14

Message: "Can You See It?

Devotional: God desires for us to grow in spiritual discernment and awareness. Reflect on how you might be relying too heavily on your natural senses or worldly wisdom. Ask the Holy Spirit to awaken your spiritual senses – to hear God's voice more clearly, to see His work more readily, and to sense His leading more acutely. Practice stillness and listening prayer, inviting God to speak to you. Consider how you can train your spiritual senses through regular engagement with Scripture, prayer, and Christian community.
