The Servant Leadership Summit brings pastors and ministry leaders together to become more effective in local church ministry through workshops, worship, & fellowship.

A message from the Summit Host, Pastor Dexter B. Upshaw Jr.

Over the years we've had pastors and churches from across the country travel to New Vision to observe our model of ministry. New Vision is a thriving urban church with over 70,000 square feet of property on the West Side of Bridgeport, CT. We serve hundreds weekly via our worship services, live broadcasts, and community programs.

We've benefited from a strong foundation, phenomenal mentors, and best practices. We have a burden to help local churches thrive!

Not only do we want to share what's worked for us; we want to learn from you. The Servant Leadership Summit is a collaborative experience designed to encourage and equip pastors and their leaders.

We will have special breakout sessions for senior pastors and spouses only. Find strength and encouragement from your ministry colleagues.

Practical Worship

We will end each evening with a worship service, with combined ministry teams in order provide hands-on experience in worship arts, audio visual technology & pastoral support.

HOTELS

Our preferred hotel is the Courtyard by Marriott Shelton, due to its proximity to the New Vision Campus (17 minutes) and our ability to provide hospitality.

Please book at this hotel so that we can best serve you during your stay.

We have a block rate of $129.00. Please call 1-800-321-2211 and request the "NVIM SLS" in order to receive the special discounted group rate.

Reservations must be received by Saturday, June 15, 2024. After this date reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis only.

FLIGHTS

Most people fly into New York City via John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) or LaGuardia Airport (LGA). You can also fly into Newark, NJ (NWK), Westchester County Airport (HPN), Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN) or Bradley International Airport (BDL)

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

There is significant driving distance from any airport to the New Vision Campus. Travel is often 1-2 hours, one way.

Please plan to obtain a rental car or carpool together from the airport.
